Kitchen Remodel

This major Kitchen remodel combines textures, colors and materials that bring together an industrial edginess with a modern and organic atmosphere. Unique granite textured to resemble wood grain runs the length of the counter tops and cascades down counter ends to meet the floor. The center island features Madre Perla granite and is heated underneath to provide warm comfort when resting your arms on its surface.

The 60” dual-fuel Wolf Range is the centerpiece of this Kitchen and is gracefully framed above with a custom lead-coated vent hood suspended over the range with industrial tie rods. A safety glass framed window looking into the Family Room, serves as the backsplash for the cooktop and brings additional natural lighting into the Kitchen.

Open, lighted glass cabinetry displays aged Chicago brick walls and steel framing, art glass and custom hardware mesh artistic and industrial looks that draw you in.

Grey washed Hickory cabinetry was used and the prominence of wood grain and knots highlights the richness of this wood in its most natural state. Mixed with the hickory wood are soft, aluminum cabinets that suspend over a serving counter and balance the room with a light and airy ambiance.

A dominate feature of this Kitchen is the barn-style Pantry door that is mounted on a rolling bar and is constructed of steel over wood with a large, frosted window of safety glass. The Pantry is quite striking with hickory shelving and galvanized metal walls. The ceiling repeats the Chicago brick featured in the Kitchen and the French limestone heating flooring is wonderful.

The Butler’s Pantry features a custom wood top edged with polished stainless steel and a gorgeous hammered stainless sink and backsplash. Glass cabinetry in the Butler’s Pantry replicates the Kitchen but contains burlap interiors for another layer of texture and organic, natural elements.
